Baker Band Swing for Music Charity Golf Tournament

The Baker Band Booster Organization will host the Annual Swing for Music Charity Golf Tournament on March 31, 2012 at Foxwood Country Club in Crestview, Florida.  This will be the inaugural event with plans for an annual tournament every spring.   The purpose of this letter is to solicit your support through the sponsorship of: one or more golf holes at our tournament; sponsorship of team; a combination of both team and hole sign; or by donation of merchandise or services.    
This tournament will provide funds to supplement the band program’s school board funding providing opportunities for students to fully develop their musical talents and participate in events and competitions that the funded budget doesn’t include.  Additionally, these funds provide for repairs to equipment, transportation expenses to events/contests, uniform replacement and repair.  The amount of additional funds necessary to run a band program yearly is more than $50,000 above official funding.
