Participants in this course will understand the two perspectives of relapse and identify the role of thinking, behaviors and feelings as an important aspect of preventing relapse. This training teaches management of the behaviors through identifying high risk situations, analyzing those situations, and preparing strategies to cope more effectively with those situations. This training also discusses how to help your clients maintain the goal of relapse prevention through increasing awareness, making better choices, developing coping skills strategies, managing triggers and finally increasing the clients functioning in the community.
