This half day seminar will address the growing problem of prescription addiction and it’s affects on women, infants and families. Dr. Craig Rikard, recipient of the 47th Georgia Author of the Year for Memoir, “Hidden Epidemic,” will dig into the past and share the heartache of growing up the child of a prescription drug addicted parent. Roland Reeves, MD, ABAM, Medical Director of the Emerald Coast Recovery and South Walton Medical Center will speak on pregnancy and prescription drug abuse, Methadone and Suboxone, addicted babies, behavioral and physical effects, doctor shopping, pill mills and solutions.
