Power Your Parenting - Cyber Safety

Today more than ever, kids are living in a digital world. They communicate and engage with others in a variety of ways, many of which can put children of all ages at risk. Join White-Wilson Medical Center for a parents-only hour of engaging and informative discussion to help Power Your Parenting! You’ll dive into the good, the bad and the ugly on cell phones, internet, gaming, social media, bullying and more. White-Wilson pediatric nurse practitioner Shana Haywood is pairing up with the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office to talk about the cyber safety issues all parents should be aware of and provide tips for protecting kids from online predators. Refreshments and door prizes will be provided. Better yet, this class is FREE and open to any interested parents, grandparents, caregivers and community members!
