Four-time Guinness record holder Ken Blackburn will present “Aerodynamics for Dummies: Folding & Flying Paper Airplanes” at the July 3rd First Tuesday Series program at the Crestview Public Library.
The presentation will discuss how Blackburn set the Guinness record for time aloft for paper airplanes, show the basics of flight, and include his leading the audience through the construction of his record-setting paper airplane. The event will conclude with a paper airplane contest with the winner receiving a paper airplane calendar.
Ken Blackburn is an aeronautical engineer at Eglin Air Force Base and lives in Destin with his wife. He is the author of four paper airplane books including The World Record Paper Airplane Book with over 1,000,000 copies in print.
