White-Wilson Medical Center Celebrates 80 Years with New Leadership, Renewed Investment and Growth Plans for the Emerald Coast
 
Following a completed corporate restructuring, the Emerald Coast’s largest multi-specialty outpatient physician group enters a new era of growth and innovation.
 
FORT WALTON Beach, Fla – August 12, 2026 – White-Wilson Medical Center (WWMC), the Emerald Coast’s largest independent multi-specialty physician group, marked its 80^th anniversary by outlining its plans for growth under new ownership and leadership. In April 2026, White-Wilson successfully completed a corporate restructuring that strengthened the organization’s long-term foundation, with Kain Capital finalizing its investment in the medical center and naming healthcare executive Brad Logan as Chief Executive Officer.
 
Founded in 1946 as a single doctor’s office on Brooks Street in Fort Walton Beach, White-Wilson has grown into a regional healthcare network serving patients across Fort Walton Beach, Crestview, Destin, DeFuniak Springs, Niceville and Navarre, caring for more than 95,000 patients annually.
 
As White-Wilson commemorates its 80^th anniversary, leadership says the milestone represents more than a celebration of the past. It marks the beginning of a renewed commitment to expanding access to high-quality care further east into the Florida Panhandle corridor.
 
“The anniversary comes at exactly the right moment. Eighty years of service is an incredible achievement, but our focus is firmly on the future,” said Brad Logan, Chief Executive Officer of White-Wilson Medical Center. “We are starting a new chapter with a solid financial foundation and a clear vision to grow. We are investing in providers recruitment, advanced technology and innovative care models that will better serve our patients and communities for decades to come.”
 
White-Wilson’s growth plans include recruiting additional primary care providers and investing in healthcare technology alongside an expanded patient portal and strengthening partnerships throughout the communities White-Wilson serves.
 
The medical center is marking the milestone with a public campaign, “80 Years of Care for Every Generation,” that runs through the end of 2026, along with patient and employee engagement and honoring 62 tenured providers and employees whose years of service exemplify the organization’s enduring commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
