Children in Crisis is seeking a passionate and dedicated Young Adult Program Coordinator (YAPC) to support children and young adults in residential care as they prepare for independence and success.
Position Summary:
The Young Adult Program Coordinator provides essential support services to youth in residential care, focusing on life skills development, mentoring, and personal growth. This role works closely with the Program Director/Administrator to create a supportive, empowering environment for at-risk youth and young adults.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Providing training and assistance with life skills assessments
• Mentoring and coaching young adults
• Supporting personal, social, and communication skill development
• Collaborating with community partners to identify resources and needs
• Assisting young adults in meeting goals outlined in their Transitional Living Plan (TLP)
• Helping youth address barriers to independence and stability
