DESCRIPTION:Volunteer Training Workshop\n\n\n\nCovenant Hospice is seeking volunteers interested in making a difference in the lives of patients and families facing end-of-life issues and supporting the mission of the organization in Okaloosa & Walton counties.\n\nA two part volunteer training workshop will be held for interested individuals on:\n\nMonday\, September 21st & Wednesday\, September 23rd from 10am-2pm        \n\nA light lunch will be provided. \n\nRegister with Carole Haws at 850.863.6165 or carole.boyd-haws@covenanthospice.org\n\n\n\nCovenant Hospice has multiple volunteer opportunities for all ages\, that fit into any schedule.\n\nVolunteers receive specialized training to provide companionship and support to patients and families\, or to assist with fundraising\, administrative support and community outreach.\n\nAreas of opportunity include: patient & family support\, administrative support\, fundraising & special events\, ambassadors\, spiritual support\, covenant care teens.
