Job Description:
As a Member Specialist at Crestview Chamber of Commerce, you will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of our organization. You will be responsible for bringing in new members while ensuring a high retention rate through exceptional service and engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the greater Crestview community, its businesses, and its economic landscape.
 
Key Responsibilities:
1. Membership Acquisition: Identify and pursue potential new members through proactive outreach, networking events, and community engagement. Develop and execute strategies to attract businesses of all sizes and industries to join the Chamber.
2. Retention Strategy: Implement initiatives to enhance member satisfaction and loyalty. Build strong relationships with existing members by understanding their needs and providing personalized support. Proactively address concerns and provide solutions to ensure member retention.
3. Community Engagement: Serve as a knowledgeable resource on the Crestview community, including its businesses, events, and economic opportunities. Actively participate in community events, committees, and networking groups to promote the Chamber and its members.
4. Sales and Marketing: Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote Chamber membership benefits and value propositions. Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content, presentations, and materials to attract new members and engage existing ones.
5. Data Analysis and Reporting: Track membership metrics, including acquisition and retention rates, and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Provide regular reports to management on membership growth and performance.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with other Chamber staff, committees, and board members to support organizational goals, initiatives and events. Collaborate with colleagues to leverage resources, share best practices, and optimize member services.
 
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or membership management.
- Strong understanding of the Crestview community, its businesses, and economic drivers.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Results-driven mindset with a passion for customer service and relationship-building.
