International Festival and Hispanic Heritage Celebration
"Our folklore, our music, our traditions... our gifts to Okaloosa County!"
The ESOL department is hosting the Second International and Hispanic Heritage Festival. This celebration of diversity is a free family-oriented, cultural and educational festival that will showcase the very best of the different cultures, folklores, arts, crafts, exhibits, traditional dances and speakers from other cultures.
The event is scheduled for Friday, October 17th, 2014 from 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm. at Shoal River Middle School. We invite you to attend or volunteer for this event! Together we will make a positive difference in our community and have fun learning about different backgrounds. We will be honor if the 7th SFG would host a display table to show what your institution do overseas. Please let me know at your earlier convenience if we can count with your participation.
If you have any questions or decide to become an active part of the festival, please contact Blanca Galindo @ blanca.galindo@mail.okaloosa.k12.fl.us
